Baseball Game Preview: Austin Achieve Polar Bears vs. LBJ Austin Jaguars

For the second straight game, Austin Achieve will face off against LBJ Austin. The Polar Bears will square off against the Jaguars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.

Austin Achieve took a loss when they played away from home back in March, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They were the clear victors by a 19-13 margin over LBJ Austin.

Rey Tellez was a standout: he scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances. Richard Cavanaugh was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in four of his five plate appearances.

Austin Achieve's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2. As for LBJ Austin, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.
