East Chapel Hill took care of business in their home opener (and then some) on Friday. Everything went their way against the Felton Grove Galaxy as they made off with a 3-0 win.

East Chapel Hill not only won, but also showed off some consistency: they kept Felton Grove between 17 and 19 points across their sets. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 25-17, 25-19.

East Chapel Hill was led to victory by Lucy Tisch and Avery Ellis. Tisch had seven digs and two aces, while Ellis had seven aces, four digs, and two blocks. Those two blocks gave Ellis a new career-high.

Felton Grove's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.

East Chapel Hill has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against East Rowan on the 16th. As for Felton Grove, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 defeat against Southwestern Randolph on the 16th.
