Basketball Recap: Dora Coyotes vs. Gateway Christian Warriors
Dora was the 57-53 winner over Gateway Christian when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Dora Coyotes were beaten by the Gateway Christian Warriors 82-47 on Thursday. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Gateway Christian to victory, but perhaps none more so than Zack McCracken, who shot 57% from the field to rack up 20 points and seven rebounds. That's the most points McCracken has posted since back in December of 2024. Victor Oaxaca was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 13 points and nine boards.
