Latrell Kaye and Delano (Tony) Walker provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Monument Valley. The connection went for 68 yards, the longest such play in IV Section I this season.

Winslow was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from third to first in the league. The Bulldogs vanquished Ganado 52-0 earlier in the week.

C.J. Chacon was a force in the backfield as Winslow defeated the Hornets.

Redmond Delmar threw for 310 yards and 2 touchdowns. He was 17-25 with 1 interception.

Troy Cly was a key player and the best on defense this week as the Mustangs bested Window Rock. The 5-foot-10 junior racked up 2 sacks.

Jerron Bitloy was the best receiver in the league this week as Monument Valley defeated the Fighting Scouts. Bitloy racked up 7 receptions for 135 yards. Cauy Nelson helped Monument Valley's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 82 yards.

Bryan M. Begay's team's Delmar and Keanu Mitchell have formed a dream team this season, leading IV Section I in both passing and receiving yards. 6-3 quarterback Delmar has thrown for 1,940 yards this season, while Mitchell has 36 catches for 693 yards. Walker from Window Rock leads the league in rushing with 1,179 yards.

Going into this week's contest against Ganado, the Mustangs' Delmar needs 60 passing yards to surpass 2,000 on the season.

A big matchup in the league this week will be when Greg Barker's team takes on Page. The Fighting Scouts are currently in second, while the Sand Devils are in third.

Monument Valley and Window Rock played the most contested game in the league this week, with Monument Valley eventually emerging with a 35-31 victory. Delmar ran for 104 yards during the win.
