Recap: Bloomfield Bobcats vs. Hot Springs Tigers
The Bloomfield Bobcats were the 53-51 winner over the Hot Springs Tigers when they last played one another back in January of 2022, but their luck changed this time around. Bloomfield fell 47-36 to Hot Springs on Saturday.
Bloomfield lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Xavier Abernathy, who scored six points along with five rebounds and four steals. Andrew Florez was another key contributor, scoring six points along with five assists and two steals.
Bloomfield has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-11 record this season. As for Hot Springs, they have been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.
Bloomfield on the road again on Thursday and play against Gallup at 7:00 p.m. on January 25th. As for Hot Springs, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Chaparral at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Chaparral and Hot Springs are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
