Waverly came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 43-37 W against the Central Heights Vikings. That's more bragging rights for the Bulldogs, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Central Heights lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Addison Ouellette, who posted 15 points. Another player making a difference was Carly Matile, who had six points in addition to eight boards and three steals.

Waverly pushed their record up to 9-7 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. As for Central Heights, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-8.
