Football Preview: Los Alamos Hilltoppers vs. Capital Jaguars
Los Alamos is 2-8 against Capital since October of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Del Norte 55-11 on the road. Considering the Jaguars' offense had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Capital can attribute much of their success to Deaven Montano, who threw for 167 yards and two touchdowns, and also punched in two rushing scores. Jay Madrid was in the mix as well, providing Capital with two touchdowns.
