Softball Recap: Northwood Comes Up Short

Northwood was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Jordan-Matthews Jets, falling 15-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Jets this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-4 on March 4th.

Northwood's loss dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Jordan-Matthews, they pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Northwood and Jordan-Matthews will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next contests. The next time Northwood sees the field they'll take on Bartlett Yancey at 6:00 p.m. on April 8. As for Jordan-Matthews, their break will end when they face North Moore at 6:00 p.m. on April 8.
