Volleyball Recap: Fairview Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Fairview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight loss. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Silver Creek Raptors. If the Knights were looking for revenge after losing 3-1 to the Raptors when the teams met back in October of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-19, 14-25, 25-13, 25-23.

When it comes to explaining why Fairview lost, don't look at Peyton Weiss. Despite the final result, she had 20 digs and three aces. Weiss has been hot for a while, having posted 13 or more digs the last nine times she's played. Evelyn Thompson was another key player, getting eight digs and four assists.

Nia Pedrett was the offensive standout of the match as she had 12 digs and two aces. Those two aces gave her a new career-high.

Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 4-17. As for Silver Creek, their win ended a six-match drought on the road and puts them at 6-12.

Fairview wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 3-1 victory against Skyline on the 29th. As for Silver Creek, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Brush on the 30th.
