Volleyball Recap: Fort Wayne North Side Comes Up Short

Fort Wayne North Side had lost 12 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Saturday they dropped down to 0-15 to make it 13. They lost 3-0 to the Central Noble Cougars. The Legends were not able to make up for their defeat to the Cougars from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

As for Central Noble, their win ended a three-match drought on the road and puts them at 8-16. The matchup marked their most dominant victory of the season.

Central Noble got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jalayna Winebrenner out in front who had ten digs and two aces. Winebrenner is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Fort Wayne North Side wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Garrett on the 6th. Central Noble has also already played their next match (against Woodlan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
