Volleyball Game Preview: Sprague Olympians vs. South Salem Saxons

Sprague has won 11 straight games at home (dating back to last season), while South Salem has won 11 straight on the road, but those streaks won't matter much on Tuesday. The Olympians will welcome the Saxons at 6:30 p.m. Sprague will be strutting in after a victory while South Salem will be coming in after a loss.

On Thursday, Sprague got the win against McNary by a conclusive 3-0.

Meanwhile, South Salem faced Jesuit in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Saxons took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Crusaders. The Saxons' defeat signaled the end of their seven-game winning streak.

Sprague's win bumped their record up to 23-1. As for South Salem, their loss dropped their record down to 19-7.

Sprague beat South Salem 3-1 when the teams last played back in September. Will the Olympians repeat their success, or do the Saxons have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
