Hicksville is a perfect 10-0 against Montpelier since October of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Aces will venture away from home to challenge the Locomotives at 5:30 p.m. Hicksville is coming into the match on a five-game losing streak.

On Saturday, Hicksville came up short against Liberty Center and fell 2-0.

Hicksville was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the first set very close. The final score came out to 25-22, 25-14.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Montpelier, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They came out on top against Gorham Fayette by a score of 3-1 on Thursday.

Montpelier had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 16-25, 25-15, 25-23, 25-14.

Hicksville's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Montpelier, their win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 3-15.
