Winning always takes teamwork, but on Friday Hekili Hernandez stepped things up a notch to give Pleasant Grove the 'W'. Hernandez rushed for 71 yards and two touchdowns on only seven carries. The performance marked the most rushing touchdowns he has had since back in September of 2024.

Hernandez and Pleasant Grove will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Monterey Trail at 7:15 p.m. on October 3.
