Soccer Recap: J.R. Tucker's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak on the Road

J.R. Tucker lost against James River Midlothian back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Tigers fell 2-0 to the Rapids. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but J.R. Tucker couldn't quite close it out.

J.R. Tucker's loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-2-1. As for James River Midlothian, their record is now 6-3-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. J.R. Tucker will square off against Patrick Henry at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. J.R. Tucker will be up against Patrick Henry's rather soft defense (which has allowed 3.11 goals per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for James River Midlothian, they will take on Midlothian at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
