Softball Recap: Richford Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Richford can now relate to. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 7-0 to the Blue Mountain Bucks, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The defeat continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Bucks: they've now lost four in a row.

Richford's loss dropped their record down to 8-7. As for Blue Mountain, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 11-4.

Richford does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Blue Mountain, they will challenge West Rutland at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Golden Horde will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Bucks surely won't give up without a fight.
