Softball Recap: Wayne Valley Comes Up Short

After flying high against Lakeland Regional last Monday, Wayne Valley came back down to earth. The Indians fell just short of the West Milford Highlanders by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday. The Indians were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Highlanders apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Wayne Valley's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for West Milford, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Wayne Valley has already played their next match (against St. Mary), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for West Milford, they will take on Randolph on Friday.
