Volleyball Recap: Fairview Comes Up Short

After flying high against Hannan on Wednesday, Fairview came back down to earth. The Eagles came up short against the Greenup County Musketeers on Thursday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Musketeers: they've now lost six in a row.

Fairview's defeat dropped their record down to 11-16. As for Greenup County, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Fairview will head out to square off against Boyd County at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Greenup County, they will venture away from home to take on Rowan County on Saturday.
