Volleyball Recap: Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop Takes a Loss

Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Renville County West Jaguars. The Thunderbirds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Jaguars apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2019.

Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop's loss dropped their record down to 0-15-1. As for Renville County West, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-6.

Coincidentally, Gibbon-Fairfax-Winthrop and Renville County West will both be playing Windom the next time they take the court. The Jaguars will host the Eagles on Friday, while the Thunderbirds will play them later in the day, at 5:30 p.m.
