Volleyball Game Preview: Lopez Lobos vs. Shoreline Christian Chargers + How To Watch

The Lopez Lobos will head out on the road to challenge the Shoreline Christian Chargers at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

On Thursday, Lopez didn't have quite enough to beat Orcas Island and fell 3-2. The Lobos haven't had much luck with the Vikings recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Lopez took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-18, 25-27, 25-18, 15-11.

Meanwhile, Shoreline Christian entered their match against Grace Academy on Tuesday without any home losses, but there's a first time for everything. The Chargers fell 3-1 to the Eagles.

Shoreline Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Lopez, their loss dropped their record down to 3-7.

Lopez might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Shoreline Christian in their previous meeting back in September. Can the Lobos avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
