The Westminster Wolves will square off against the Northglenn Norsemen at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both are strolling into their matchups after big wins in their previous games.

Westminster will head into Thursday's contest after some sweet revenge against Mountain Range: Westminster couldn't quite topple Mountain Range on Thursday, but it was still a huge improvement compared to the seven-run defeat they took when the two last played. Westminster came out on top against Mountain Range by a score of 13-3 (the very same score they lost by in their prior game). The Wolves might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by eight runs or more this season.

Jaleesa Talmich Martinez was incredible, going 3-for-3 with five RBI, two runs, and two doubles. Magaly Santacruz was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing three bases while going 2-for-3.

Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Westminster was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .458. The last time their batting average was this high was back in October of 2023.

Northglenn never got on the board in their matchup on Thursday, but that sure wasn't the case in their game against Thornton on Monday. They blew past the Trojans 14-6. Considering the Norsemen have won four games by more than seven runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Ryann Fredrick and Jocelyn Evans were a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, Fredrick pitched 1.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Meanwhile, Evans struck out six batters over 5.1 innings while giving up just two earned (and four unearned) runs off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't given up more than two hits in four consecutive pitching appearances. At bat, Fredrick went 3-for-4 with a home run, three runs, and four RBI, while Evans scored four runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances. The last time Fredrick's batting average was this high was back in September of 2023.

In other batting news, Ary Samaniego was excellent, going 2-for-4 with a triple, two RBI, and a double. The team also got some help courtesy of Brookelynn Hendrick, who scored a run while going 1-for-5.
