Middletown is 8-2 against St. Raphael Academy since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Tuesday. The Islanders will venture away from home to take on the Saints at 5:15 p.m. Middletown is coming into the contest on a four-game losing streak.

Middletown fought the good fight in their extra-innings match against Narragansett on Monday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell 6-3 to the Mariners.

Middletown saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cam Carlisle, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one RBI.

Meanwhile, St. Raphael Academy unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Monday. They lost 10-1 to East Greenwich. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Saints have suffered since April 9th.

Middletown's record now sits at 4-9. As for St. Raphael Academy, their record is now 9-5.

Middletown couldn't quite get it done against St. Raphael Academy when the teams last played back in May of 2024 as they fell 4-0. Can the Islanders avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
