Langham Creek will head into Tuesday's game hoping to keep the good times rolling: they had to skate by with only a two-point margin when they last took the court, which might have inspired the 23-point drubbing they dealt Cypress Woods on Tuesday. Prevost was her usual excellent self, going 8 of 12 en route to 21 points along with eight rebounds and four steals. She is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last seven games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Envy Jackson, who posted eight points and four steals.
Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Cypress Springs' strategy against Bridgeland on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that Cypress Springs blew Bridgeland out of the water with a 62-28 final score. The Panthers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 20 points or more this season.
Langham Creek better focus on containing Mcdowell and Jemini Mitchell as the pair were huge in Cypress Springs' win. Mcdowell went 11 of 18 on her way to 26 points in addition to seven boards and five steals, while Mitchell dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Melanie Hodges, who put up seven points and five rebounds.
Cypress Springs pushed their record up to 14-3 with the win, which was their 14th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.1 points per game. As for Langham Creek, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Langham Creek has crashing the boards this season, having averaged 33.4 rebounds per game.
