Basketball Recap: Corry Takes a Loss

Corry lost against Oil City back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Corry Beavers came up short against the Oil City Oilers, falling 59-36.

Corry's loss dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Oil City, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.

Corry will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Franklin at 7:15 p.m. on February 7th. As for Oil City, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Fort LeBoeuf at 7:15 p.m. Oil City knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past four matchups -- so hopefully Fort LeBoeuf likes a good challenge.
