Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Canton Central Catholic walked away with it. They strolled past the Mineral Ridge Rams with points to spare on Tuesday, taking the game 61-45. The victory was nothing new for the Crusaders as they're now sitting on four straight.

Mineral Ridge lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ava Hulett, who almost dropped a double-double with 14 points and nine rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to boards, as she's now pulled down eight or more in each of the last eight games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Ava Carkido, who posted ten points.

Canton Central Catholic's win bumped their record up to 16-8. As for Mineral Ridge, their loss dropped their record down to 19-5.

Coming up, Canton Central Catholic will face off against Waynedale at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday. Waynedale will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Canton Central Catholic surely won't give up without a fight. Mineral Ridge does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
