Brayden Whitlow gave up the fewest earned runs he has since back in March on Tuesday. He did his part (and then some), not allowing a single earned run and allowing only two hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched for the 'W'. He also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because Lewis County is undefeated when he allows at most three earned runs, but 5-11 otherwise.

Coming up, Whitlow and Lewis County will host Wayne County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers got just the result they wanted when they last faced the Wildcats thanks in part to Whitlow: he scored two runs while going 2-for-3. Can he match (or beat) that performance?
