Softball Recap: Beecher Makes It Four in a Row on the Road

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Beecher walked away with it. They never let the Seneca Fighting Irish get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Fighting Irish: they've now won four in a row.

Not much got past Taylor Norkus, who gave up just a hit and racked up ten Ks to keep Seneca off the board. With that strong performance, Norkus is now averaging an impressive 5.1 strikeouts per game.

At the plate, Beecher saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ava Lorenzatti, who went 1-for-2 with one home run.

Beecher pushed their record up to 34-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Seneca, their defeat ended a 33-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 34-2.

As of now, neither Beecher nor the Fighting Irish have any future games scheduled.
