Football Game Preview: North Muskegon Norsemen vs. Oakridge Eagles + How To Watch

North Muskegon hasn't had much luck against Oakridge recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Norsemen will head out on the road to square off against the Eagles at 7:00 p.m. North Muskegon has given up an average of 28.4 points per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

North Muskegon is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. Everything went their way against Newaygo on Friday as they made off with a 56-34 win. Considering the Norsemen have won three games by more than 21 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

North Muskegon got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Cullen Bartos out in front who rushed for 58 yards, and also threw for 48 yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, Oakridge didn't have quite enough to beat Ravenna on Friday and fell 29-26.

The win made it two in a row for North Muskegon and bumps their season record up to 6-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 46.0 points over those games. As for Oakridge, their loss dropped their record down to 5-3.

North Muskegon strolled past Oakridge when the teams last played back in October of 2024 by a score of 34-17. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Norsemen since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
