Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, New Town couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell just short of the Largo Lions by a score of 50-48 on Friday. New Town's defeat signaled the end of their 24-game winning streak.

Cameron Ward continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Largo, dropping a double-double with 20 points and 15 boards. The team also got some help courtesy of Ayden Ashe, who shot 42% from the field en route to 10 points.

New Town's loss dropped their record down to 27-2. As for Largo, the victory was the seventh in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 25-3.

As of now, neither New Town nor Largo have any future games scheduled.
