Softball Game Preview: Dysart Demons vs. Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks

For the second straight game, Dysart will face off against Desert Sunrise. Dysart will head out on the road to challenge Desert Sunrise at 3:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Dysart knows how to get runs on the board -- the team has finished with ten runs or more in their past four contests -- so hopefully Desert Sunrise likes a good challenge.

Dysart took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Monday. They blew past Desert Sunrise 30-23. The Demons not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since April 15, 2024.

Reyna Rodriguez was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with three runs, four RBI, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Mya Sias, who scored five runs and stole two bases while getting on base in five of her six plate appearances.

Desert Sunrise is on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9. As for Dysart, their victory (their first of the season) made their record 1-10.
