Volleyball Recap: Lawrence County Comes Up Short

Lawrence County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They fell 2-0 to the Northside Rams. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Rams this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in September.

Despite the loss, Lawrence County still got an impressive performance from Reagan Smith, who had 14 digs.

Lawrence County's defeat dropped their record down to 20-23. As for Northside, they moved to 28-5 with that victory, which also ended their three-match losing streak.

Lawrence County didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Oak Mountain on the 4th. As for Northside, they will face off against Tuscaloosa County at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
