Baseball Recap: Bay Comes Up Short

Bay was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 13-4 to the Corning Bobcats.

Michael Walters was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. Those runs marked the first that he scored this season.

Bay's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Corning, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Bay will face off against East Poinsett County at 12:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Corning, they will take on Hillcrest at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
