Kennewick had already won 14 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 6.9 runs) and they went ahead and made it 15 on Friday. They put the hurt on the Gig Harbor Tides with a sharp 12-5 victory. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won 16 matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Kennewick pushed their record up to 23-4 with the win, which was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season. The road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Gig Harbor, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 27-3.
