Preview: Tiverton Tigers vs. Pilgrim Patriots
Tiverton has been on the road for two straight, but on Tuesday they'll finally head home. They will take on the Pilgrim Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Rhode Island (Tiverton is ranked 42nd, while Pilgrim is ranked 33rd).
Tiverton suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Friday. They were the victim of a rough 56-36 loss at the hands of Burrillville.
Meanwhile, Pilgrim had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat Providence Country Day 63-32 at home. That 31 points margin sets a new team best for Pilgrim this season.
Tiverton's defeat was their sixth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 1-9. As for Pilgrim, the win got them back to even at 5-5.
Tiverton strolled past Pilgrim in their previous matchup back in December of 2022 by a score of 63-47. Does Tiverton have another victory up their sleeve, or will Pilgrim turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
