Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Whitesburg Christian Academy walked away with it. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Colbert County Indians a 12-0 shutout on Friday. Considering the Warriors have won 17 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The win was the fifth in a row for Whitesburg Christian Academy, bringing their record up to 22-10. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.2 runs over those games. As for Colbert County, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-17.

Whitesburg Christian Academy will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Indians: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
