Preston Wood Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Carey was led to victory by Preston Wood, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Wood rushed for 183 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per carry, and also threw for 249 yards and two touchdowns on only 17 passes. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 2.1 rushing touchdowns per game. His longest rush was for an incredible 77 yards.

It was an underclassman who stole the show on Friday as Devin Scott came into the contest on a mission. Despite the loss, he was still balling out as he rushed for 131 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 7.3 yards per carry, and also threw for 111 yards while completing 75% of his passes. He showed off some serious burst, cutting through the defense on one rush that went for 56 yards.
