Basketball Recap: Penncrest Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Garnet Valley, Penncrest was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They came out on top against the Ridley Raiders by a score of 33-26. The victory was some much needed relief for the Lions as it spelled an end to their seven-game losing streak.

Penncrest's win was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-5 and their overall record up to 3-7. As for Ridley, their loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 3-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Penncrest Lions face off against the Strath Haven Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Ridley has already played their next matchup (against Conestoga), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
