Basketball Recap: Baxter Takes a Loss

Baxter was the 66-59 winner over Collins-Maxwell when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. Baxter took a hard 71-55 fall against Collins-Maxwell on Friday. Baxter has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Baxter's defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Collins-Maxwell, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Baxter will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Ankeny Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025. After both having extra time off, Collins-Maxwell and Twin Cedars will dust off their jerseys to challenge one another at 7:30 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
