Preview: Erie Red Devils vs. Oswego Indians
Erie is 7-1 against Oswego since December of 2014, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Erie Red Devils' road trip will continue as they head out to face the Oswego Indians at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
Last Friday, Erie came up short against Humboldt and fell 45-36. Erie has struggled against Humboldt recently, as their game on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the most dominant came from Kinzie Cleaver, who scored 9 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Alexandra Pasquarelli, who scored 10 points along with 3 blocks.
Meanwhile, Oswego was beaten by St. Mary's-Colgan 89-13 on Thursday.
Uniontown's win bumped their season record to 0-0 while Erie's loss dropped theirs to 0-3.
Everything came up roses for Erie against Oswego in their previous meeting back in December of 2022 as the squad secured a 55-20 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Erie since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
