Konawaena falls short of Waipahu in the playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Konawaena Wildcats can now relate to. They were the victim of a rough 53-28 defeat at the hands of the Marauders on Saturday. Konawaena's defeat signaled the end of their 11-game winning streak.
Among those leading the charge was Eric Stephens, who picked up 117 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Konawaena's defeat dropped their record down to 11-2. As for Waipahu, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a massive bump to their 8-4 record this season.
Konawaena does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Waipahu also has no future games currently scheduled.
