Basketball Recap: Will Rogers College Drops Season-High Score on Pryor

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Will Rogers College). Everything went their way against the Pryor Tigers on Tuesday as the Will Rogers College Ropers made off with a 70-49 victory. Given the Ropers' advantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 46th, while the Tigers are ranked 144th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Will Rogers College's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Branden Crosslen, who went 8 for 9 on his way to 20 points in addition to five boards and five steals. With that strong performance, Crosslen is now averaging an impressive 2.4 steals per game. The team also got some help courtesy of Shon King, who posted 14 points in addition to six rebounds and five assists.
