Volleyball Recap: Wabeno/Laona Extends Winning Streak to Three

Wabeno/Laona had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past the Pacelli Cardinals 3-0.

Wabeno/Laona never let Pacelli on the board, but things got pretty close in the third set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-17, 25-22.

Lily Terry paced Wabeno/Laona's offense, picking up 13 kills. Terry got some help from Aubrey Tinsman and her 17 assists. Finally, Faith Novak kept Wabeno/Laona's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Wabeno/Laona's record now sits at 27-10. As for Pacelli, their defeat dropped their record down to 13-18.

As of now, neither Wabeno/Laona nor the Cardinals have any future games scheduled.
