Baseball Recap: Bagdad Sultans vs. Hayden Lobos
Bagdad lost against Hayden back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Sultans fell just short of the Lobos by a score of 4-3. The Sultans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Destry Owings was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last six games he's played. Bagdad's loss dropped their record down to 15-3. As for Hayden, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-2 record this season.
Bagdad wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 defeat against San Tan Charter on the 12th. As for Hayden, they have also already played their next game, a 15-4 loss against Globe on the 12th.
