Football Recap: Dowagiac Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After soaring to 40 points the game before, Dowagiac was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were beaten by the Williamston Hornets 46-7. While losing is never fun, the Chieftains can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan football rankings (they are ranked 216th, while the Hornets are ranked 25th).

Dowagiac's defeat dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Williamston, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dowagiac will challenge Cassopolis at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Williamston, they will square off against Thurston at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Hornets will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last three matchups.
