While North Lincoln's win against West Iredell wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Warriors 2-1. The final result isn't all that surprising considering North Lincoln's considerable advantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 177th, while West Iredell are ranked 365th).

Zeph Boyd and Angel Martinez scored both of North Lincoln's goals, bringing their combined season tally to ten goals.

North Lincoln is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-6-3 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those five contests. As for West Iredell, they dropped their record down to 2-11-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
