National Cathedral is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of District of Columbia's top teams: Georgetown Visitation Prep, who was ranked second at the time (National Cathedral was ranked third). National Cathedral lost 3-0 to Georgetown Visitation Prep on Friday. National Cathedral's defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

National Cathedral was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Georgetown Visitation Prep work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-13, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Bullis came up short against Potomac School on Thursday, falling 3-0.

Bullis took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-9, 25-14.

Bullis' loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for National Cathedral, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-2-1.
