Football Recap: Miami-Yoder Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Miami-Yoder was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Flagler Panthers and fell 62-6. The Buffaloes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Aiden Sethman-Taylor threw for 129 yards while completing 72.7% of his passes. Jordan Hume was his top target, picking up 97 receiving yards. On the ground, Jesus Cruz rushed for 56 yards.

Miami-Yoder's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Flagler, their win bumped their record up to 3-1.

Coming up, Miami-Yoder will host Manzanola at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buffaloes will be up against the Bobcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 31.5 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Flagler, they are taking a road trip to face off against Bethune at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. The Panthers will need to watch out since the Bobcats have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season.
