Basketball Recap: Palestine Find Success

Palestine hadn't done well against Madisonville recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. The Palestine Wildcats snuck past the Madisonville Mustangs with a 41-37 win. This was a revenge game for the Wildcats: when they faced off against the Mustangs on January 3rd, they had to take a 43-36 defeat.

Palestine is also on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a massive bump to their 11-17 record this season. As for Madisonville, the loss snapped their winning streak at five games and leaves them with a 14-10 record.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palestine will take on Rusk at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Madisonville, they will head out on the road to square off against Center at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
