Basketball Recap: Harwood Comes Up Short in High-Profile Game with Lamoille

On Tuesday, Harwood faced Lamoille in a battle between two of the state's top teams. The Harwood Highlanders came up short against the Lamoille Lancers, falling 64-38. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 57-41 back in January.

Harwood's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4. As for Lamoille, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-3 record this season.

Looking ahead, Harwood will take on North Country Union at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Country Union will roll in looking for their 15th straight win, something Harwood surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lamoille, they will square off against Montpelier at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Lamoille is facing Montpelier at the right time seeing as Montpelier is stuck on a nine-game losing streak.
