Volleyball Recap: Ansley Pardue Key Part of Team Effort in Mustangs Win

Houston won the last time they faced Munford and things went their way on Thursday too. The Mustangs blew past the Cougars 3-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Mustangs.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Houston was: they took every set by at least 13 points. The final score came out to 25-9, 25-12, 25-10.

Houston's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ansley Pardue, who had 15 assists and four digs. That's the most digs Pardue has posted since back in October of 2024.

Houston's win bumped their record up to 2-0.

Houston didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat against Hutchison on the 22nd. As for Munford, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 loss against St. Benedict at Auburndale on the 22nd.
