Baseball Recap: Pineville Wins Going Away Against Pine Prairie

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Tioga, Pineville was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They blew past the Pine Prairie Panthers 14-4. The high-scoring performance was a welcome turnaround for the Rebels' hitters, who had struggled in the games prior.

The win got Pineville back to even at 5-5. As for Pine Prairie, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Pineville and Pine Prairie's offenses will be put to the test in their next games. Pineville and Captain Shreve (who has only given up 3.73 runs per game) will meet at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Pine Prairie will face off against Buckeye at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, a squad that's only allowed 3.63 runs per game.
